Unlike other needle-type tools that have the release opening on the side, this tool has the split right in the center. You simply push the tool directly into the puncture and pull straight out. No bending, twisting, or looping is necessary. A twist of the Rasp Tool inserted into the needle eye releases the plug. It's a tried-and-true method.
